About the Opportunities

We now have multiple opportunities for safety conscious and experienced Triple Road Train and Quad Drivers to join our team, based in Ceduna, SA, on a full-time, 4/4/4 roster. Initially, these roles will see you driving Triple Road Trains, however we will soon be introducing some Quad Road Trains to our fleet.

As a Triple Road Train Driver for Kalari, you will complete your BA self-test, pre-start on TRT, then travel on a sealed bitumen road between our Ceduna depot and a Mine site approximately 4 hours away. You will self-load with HMC Heavy Mineral Concentrates (Zircon) using a CAT loader. On returning from the Mine to the Port and back to Depot, you will then refuel and wash your unit prior to shift completion.

About You

To be considered for these positions you must have a current MC Driver's License, ideally with experience driving triple or quad Road Trains. Candidates with an MC license who haven't driven Triple Road Trains can apply providing they can demonstrate experience with driving another combination/s ie B Double, or have side-tipper experience. 

You will also need to demonstrate the following:

  • A positive attitude towards safety and compliance;
  • A motivated and positive attitude towards the transport industry;
  • Good knowledge of fatigue management requirements;
  • Flexibility with work rosters; and
  • The ability to work in a team environment.

About Life in Ceduna

The town of Ceduna is located on the Far West Coast of South Australia, on the scenic shores of Murat Bay on the Great Australian Bight, approximately 780km from Adelaide and 1900 road km to Perth.

Ceduna is the major centre to a large and diverse business and industry sector on the Far West Coast of Eyre Peninsula. Please note: Prior to commencement in these roles you will be required to pass all pre-employment checks; which includes a medical assessment, National Police clearance check, driving license history check, reference checks, identity check, verification of tickets, licenses, accreditations and qualifications.

This is a residential role only, so candidates must either live in or be willing to relocate to Ceduna. The roster for this role is 4 AM/4 PM/4 off, so you will need to be flexible and able to work a varied roster.
